Sleeping Beauty

A new modern take on Sleeping Beauty is being released this year and is currently showing at the Cannes Film Festival. It shows the main character Lucy (Sleeping Beauty), as a high class prostitute who is driven to remote country houses, sedated and then given over to the men who can do (almost) what they want to her.
Lucy is completely passive and submissive, deciding who she should go home with at the toss of a coin. It is a really interesting take on the classic tale.
